Harald Bluetooth

Harald Bluetooth united key Danish territories in the 10th century, strengthening the kingdom and helped drive a major cultural shift as Denmark moved toward Christianity. His achievements were memorialized on the Jelling runestone - often called Denmark’s “baptismal certificate” - which credits him with unifying Denmark, extending influence into Norway, and converting the Danes.
Today, we all carry a piece of his legacy in our pockets.
A daily reminder that connection is power, across centuries as well as across networks.

Bluetooth wireless technology was named after the famous Viking Harald Bluetooth because it links separate systems - now devices rather than regions.

Did you know that the Bluetooth logo is a bind-rune formed from the runic initials for H and B.
